Ingredients:

  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 8×8-inch dish.
  2. Sauté onions in oil until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
  3. Mix in cream, 3/4 cup cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread in dish and top with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly. Garnish with chives.
