Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 cup sugar-free tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour biscuit mix (or recipe below)
  • 1 large egg (for biscuits)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (for biscuits)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch dish.
  2. Cook beef, onion, and bell pepper until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic powder, and salt. Spread in dish.
  4. For biscuits: Mix almond flour, egg, and cream into dough. Drop spoonfuls over beef.
  5. Top with cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden.
